Here at Coffee Resurrect, we are passionate about creating local solutions to solve global problems.

We strive to deliver high quality products and services to our customers, whilst never compromising on our commitment to create a positive environmental impact. We strive to radically change mindsets, and show that materials can still possess huge value, even after being used for their primary purpose.

Humanity is facing a crisis on multiple fronts. Our planet is projected to heat up by 1.5°C by 2050, probably sooner, and around half the world’s population is already dangerously exposed to the current and predicted impacts of climate change.

In the Face of Climate Change, Migration Offers an Adaptation Strategy in Africa. For sub-Saharan Africa, which has experienced more frequent and more intense climate extremes over the past decades, the ramifications of the world’s warming by more than 1.5° C would be profound. Temperature increases in the region are projected to be higher than the global mean temperature increase; regions in Africa within 15 degrees of the equator are projected to experience an increase in hot nights as well as longer and more frequent heat waves.

Globally, there are an estimated 281 million international migrants and over 55 million internally displaced persons. In Africa, migration induced by slow onset events such as droughts, desertification, deforestation, water scarcity, rising sea levels, and coastal erosion has increased in occurrence and severity over the last few decades due to the adverse effects of climate change. In the East and Horn of Africa, a fourth consecutive year of drought in the region has engendered loss of livestock and livelihoods, leaving millions of people severely affected in Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia, and pushing tens of thousands of families to leave their homes in search of food, water and pasture, many to urban areas. Here at COFFEE RESURRECT, we believe with the right tools and resources we have the ability to play a significant tangible role and create a real difference for our world by sustainably innovating through coffee waste - all through a way of being corporate socially responsible for ourselves and others as well.

Love to #coffee resurrect Good news!
